Client Work MOSS GREY SPRING 22
« Client Work

In the Spring I took some slow fashion handmade linen pieces from Comox Valley's Moss Grey  for a quick editorial photoshoot to a secret Vancouver Island canyon created by runoff from a development project. A strange, sad, but beautiful moment in the landscape of this area - no longer the natural lush rainforest and not yet a suburb.

The sun came out while I was there, and it was one of the first times that year I felt the sun on my face. Tucked away in the quiet of that canyon felt like suddenly finding myself in the arid desert, a world away from my lush and rainy Vancouver Island. This was a true opportunity sealed in time - the canyon has now been filled in and smother over for a development project.
